  • A more intense massage designed to target deep muscle tension

"Deep tissue" is a massage technique that's mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.

    benefits of deep tissue massage:

    • Pain relief: Deep tissue massage can help relieve soreness and imbalance caused by injury or tension.

    • Improved range of motion: Deep tissue massage can help break up scar tissue, which can limit range of motion.

    • Improved posture: Deep tissue massage can help improve posture.

    • Stress relief: Deep tissue massage can help release tension caused by stress or anxiety.

  • During myofascial release therapy, the therapist applies light pressure by hand to find myofascial areas that feel stiff instead of elastic and movable. These stiff areas, or trigger points, are thought to limit muscle and joint movements, which can play a part in widespread muscle pain.

Myofascial therapy is a gentle, consistent massage that releases tightness and pain throughout your myofascial tissues.

  • Lymphatic Massage relieves swelling by coaxing lymph fluid from your tissues to your functioning lymph nodes. Unlike traditional massage, lymphatic drainage massage uses light pressure to mobilize the lymphatic system, which lies directly beneath the skin.

During a massage, lymphatic drainage stimulates the lymphatic system and increases lymph flow. Increasing lymph flow improves the efficiency of the lymphatic system. A more efficient lymphatic system can reduce the effects of delayed onset muscle soreness and decrease swelling, muscular fatigue, weakness and pain.
