BIO

My diverse background, which spans from ceramic art education to hospice care, has given me both intuitive hands and deep empathy. I use these qualities to support clients, particularly those recovering from grief, addiction, or trauma.

I've always been fascinated by the mind-body connection. In the mid-1990s, I began my journey in massage therapy before pursuing art education and ceramic sculpture. After retiring as an Emeritus Professor of Fine Art from Sonoma State University in 2021, I shifted my focus back to bodywork.

The COVID-19 pandemic reignited my passion for caregiving, hospice care and eventually returning to massage therapy. I formalized my education at the San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork.

For me, massage therapy is an intimate dialogue. By combining attentive listening with skillful technique, I tailor each treatment to the unique needs of my clients.
